Swiss Alps, Zermatt and an elusive horn

Swiss Alps – This magnificent mountain range captivates you as soon as you see it on the horizon. Its a magical place you want to keep coming back to. One of those places is Zermatt – once a poor mountain village, now a wealthy ski resort with a famous mountain – the Matterhorn. After the cities and towns of France and Belgium, it was a nice break to enjoy nature for a couple of days: the crisp air of the Alps, the snow covered mountains and amazing vistas recharged us for the upcoming trip through Italy. The entire time the Matterhorn was elusive, hiding behind rows of clouds, but we managed a few nice photos when the cloud cover thinned for a couple minutes. Loading onto a car train ferry to take us through the mountain passes to Zarmatt. You drive onto the train and while you sit in your car it takes you through a dark tunnel for 20 minutes.
