Spent Halloween evening in the parking lot of a rodeo – parents from all over Moab drove their kids there in costume, parked a few hundred cars in a giant circle, and kids went from open trunk to open trunk trick-or-treating. A local retired boy scout leader educated us about barrel races at the rodeo (horse riders avoiding barrels) and the mormon church, which he urged us to investigate and consider joining. [10/31/2011]
