We drove 500 miles from LA to Tucson to visit the giant cactuses in Arizona Saguaro National Park. Francis made a friend with a baby cactus. [1/5/2011]
Last night in LA we watched the sunset from the rooftop of a friends apartment building. We just couldn't get enough of the west coast sunsets, they are an amazing explosion of color every night. [1/4/2011]

So far during our stay in LA we spent two evenings in Venice Beach walking back and forth on the boardwalk, taking pictures of interesting characters and watching amazing sunsets. [12/29/2011]

A victorian house on Coronado Beach, San Diego. We spent an evening walking along the unique and fairly rich neghborhoods, photographing on the beach, and chilling by the fire at the 100 year old Coronado hotel. [12/26/2011]
Got stuck in snow storm in New Mexico last night. Spent the night in car by a casino truck stop. Most cars had to sleep in casino lobby, it was just us and truckers. 7 am woken by cop to tell us interstate is open. [12/23/2011]
